CHIROPRACTICMark Warren, Doctor of Chiropractic, graduated from the prestigious Anglo European Chiropractic College (AECC), with BSc honours (Neuromusculoskeletal Science) and MChiro (Master of Chiropractic) degrees. Mark Warren is registered with the British Chiropractic Association, the British Sports' Chiropractic Council and, as with all legitimate chiropractors, the regulatory body of the General Chiropractic Council. Since starting clinical practice, in order to provide ever- higher levels of patient care, Mark Warren has travelled throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and North America to further his studies. His post-graduate qualifications include the International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma or “ICSSD” and becoming a certified Active Release Techniques and Kinesio Taping Practitioner (See the Sports Chiropractic,other therapies and Active Release Techniques®pages for more information).
ACUPUNCTUREConny Duxbury (BSc, MA, LicAc, MBAcC) qualified in acupuncture after a 3-year course at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture where she is now a module co-ordinator and lecturer. Having worked at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, she is also used to liaising with medical doctors in a more conventional setting. Conny is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adheres to their high standards of professionalism and hygiene.
Reflexology, Reiki, Soft Tissue Massage, YogaEmily Matthews ITEC DIP, is a registered Reiki Practitioner and Teacher and is trained to Master level in Usui/Tibetan Reiki and Karuna Reiki. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Emily takes the exceptional, holistic approach of combining the healing techniques of Reiki with Massage and Reflexology to provide a general feeling of well being and complete relaxation, whilst also working on alleviating specific ailments. A comprehensive consultation, which is strictly confidential, is carried out in the first appointment to enable Emily to tailor treatments to individual needs. Yoga After spending a few years in South East Asia and London studying various different style of Yoga, Emily completed her teacher training with the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. Her Yoga classes are one and a half hours, with a maximum of five students per class. Attention is focussed on posture, breathing techniques and relaxation. Emily is qualified to teach Yoga for Stress Management and some of these techniques are incorporated into her classes. Emily is also available for one to one Yoga sessions. PILATESLUCIE ORMEROD LLSA IPTI, qualified with The Pilates Institute and is a member of The Register of Exercise Professionals. She places great emphasis on continuing professional development and regularly attends courses and workshops to further her knowledge. A Complimentary Health Professional since 1994, Lucie spent 7 years practising Aroma Therapy and Massage from Holmes Place in The City of London, where she found a substantial proportion of her clients suffered from posture- related back, neck and shoulder pain. This led Lucie to look into the benefits of Pilates exercise. Classes at our clinic are small, enabling Lucie to ensure that each client receives special attention. Exercise programmes can be modified to suit individual needs.
